WASHINGTON AVENUE AND CHURCHILL STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE   The City of Prescott and their contractor, Fann Contracting, Inc., have reached substantial completion of the Washington Avenue and Churchill Street Reconstruction Project. Improvements consisted of the removal and replacement of existing asphalt along North Washington Avenue, from East Sheldon Street to Churchill Street, and along Churchill Street from North Washington Avenue to North Arizona Avenue. Additional improvements included the installation of new water line, repairs to the existing sewer main, drainage improvements, and the replacement of concrete sidewalks, valley gutters, driveway entrances, and curb and gutter. These improvements have successfully enhanced the drainage capabilities in the area, upgraded the utilities that serve the Prescott community, increased pedestrian safety, and provided a smoother ride for motorists well into the future. The City is proud to bring road improvements such as this to the Prescott Community and appreciate your support as our crews have worked to complete this project.
