SUNDOG WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT SIGNIFICANTLY COMPLETE
The City of Prescott and their contractors, Fann Contracting, Inc. and Fann Environmental, LLC, have reached significant completion of the Sundog Wastewater Treatment Plant Lift Station and Trunk Main Project. The project includes the construction of a wastewater lift station within the Sundog Wastewater Treatment Plant and the installation of a new sewer main line along State Route 89, from Prescott Lakes Parkway to just north of East Lillian Lane. The new lift station will force wastewater through the main line to a junction located north of the Willow Creek Road Roundabout. This utility upgrade is the first of several phases to centralize wastewater collection and treatment throughout the municipal system, and provide the ability to direct all sewage to the Airport Reclamation Facility. With the majority of construction activities complete, crews will be working within the City's Sundog Wastewater Treatment Plant to finish installation of the lift station over the next several weeks.
The City is proud to bring improvements such as this to the Prescott Community and appreciate your support as our crews have worked to complete the project.
