SUNDOG SEWER TRUNK MAIN PROJECT: PHASE C1 SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE

The City of Prescott and their contractor, ALC Underground, LLC, have reached substantial completion of the Sundog Sewer Trunk Main Project: Phase C1. Improvements included the installation of a new water line along Miller Valley Road, from Rodeo Drive to just south of Schemmer Drive. Additional improvements included the installation of a new drainage culvert from the intersection of Schemmer Drive, crossing Miller Valley Road, and terminating at Miller Creek. This project was part of a Development Agreement and cost sharing effort with the Creekview Village Apartments, which are currently under construction. This utility upgrade was one of several phases to centralize wastewater collection and treatment throughout the municipal system. These improvements have successfully increased the sewer capacity, reduced operations and maintenance costs, and has removed portions of the system outside of the floodplain. Please remain alert as crews perform minor cleanup activities next week.

The City is proud to bring utility improvements such as this to the Prescott Community and appreciate your support as our crews have worked to complete this project.
