SR 89 WIDENING AND ROUNDABOUT PROJECT SIGNIFICANTLY COMPLETE
The City of Prescott and their contractor, Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc., have reached significant completion of the SR 89 Widening and Roundabout Project. Project improvements included the widening of State Route 89, water and sewer utility upgrades, the removal and replacement of existing asphaltic concrete, and construction of a new roundabout near the Phippen Museum. The project also included a new parking area for access to the City’s Constellation Trail System. These improvements have successfully increased traffic flow by widening the existing 2 lane roadway to 4 lanes, enhanced road user safety, and upgraded the utilities that serve the Prescott community.
