GRANITE CREEK DAM OUTLET REHABILITATION PROJECT: PHASE 2 SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE

The City of Prescott and their contractor, Fann Contracting, Inc., have reached substantial completion of the second, and final phase of the Granite Creek Dam Outlet Rehabilitation Project at Watson Lake. The completed dam improvements have decommissioned a 48-inch non-working valve, and removed and replaced a leaking 36-inch valve. Additional improvements included the construction of a steel working platform. These improvements will allow the City to safely drain water for downstream management and extend the life of the valve into the foreseeable future.

The City is proud to bring improvements such as this to the Prescott Community and appreciate your support as our crews have worked to complete this project.
