CORONADO AVENUE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROJECT SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE
The City of Prescott, Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), and their contractor, Fann Contracting, Inc., have reached substantial completion of the Coronado Avenue Safe Routes to School Project. The project included the installation of new sidewalk along the north side of Coronado Avenue, from Park Avenue to Country Club Drive. This project was undertaken as part of ADOT’s Safe Routes to School Program, which provides resources for schools and municipalities to increase student safety when traveling to and from school. These improvements have successfully increased pedestrian access and safety along the corridor.
