BASHFORD COURTS ALLEY & WILLIS STREET AND CORTEZ STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT SIGNIFICANTLY COMPLETE
The City of Prescott and their contractor, Earth Resources Corporation, have reached significant completion of the Bashford Courts Alley & Willis Street and Cortez Street Reconstruction Project. Project improvements consisted of the complete reconstruction and improvements to the alleys and parking lot behind the Bashford Courts Atrium Mall, and the intersection of Willis Street and Cortez Street to Montezuma Street. Improvements to the Bashford Courts parking lot included the installation of new storm drain, sewer main, parking lot lighting, and landscape elements. Improvements at the Willis Street and North Cortez Street intersection included a new water main that extends to North Montezuma Street, as well as landscape enhancements and crosswalk reconstruction. Additionally, new asphalt pavement was installed throughout the entire project area. These improvements have significantly improved stormwater drainage, provided upgraded water and sewer utilities, and increased overall safety and accessibility for the Bashford Courts parking lot.
